Apple CEO Tim Cook said for the first time in an interview with Bloomberg Television that his company focused on technology used in auto-driving.
Cook told the television station in an interview on June 5 that the company focused on self-operating systems.
"We do not speak from the point of view of the existence of a product, it is a basic technology that we consider to be very important," he said.
In April, Apple obtained a license to test its own self-driving vehicles in California after entering the field of competition in this field and has since hired dozens of automotive experts.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
