A US citizen received $ 7.5 million in damages after suffering a fracture in his thigh while buying a watermelon from a shop.
According to the Washington Post, Henry Wook went shopping, hanging his feet on the edge of a wooden plank that was located below the area of the melon display, falling down and breaking the bones of his thigh.
Wook decided to file a lawsuit against the store, and his lawyer confirmed that the incident had greatly affected her client's life.
According to the lawyer, her client was a regular athlete and played basketball three times a week, even though he was 59 years old, before he had to walk on a cane.
