A US appeals court in California has allowed some of the latest travel ban issued by President Donald Trump to block the entry of Libyans and citizens of five other countries.
The court allowed the US government to deny access to people from Muslim-majority countries if they had no family ties within the United States.
The San Francisco Circuit Court of Appeals, based in San Francisco, approved a request by the Trump administration to suspend a lower court order suspending the new ban.
The ruling affects arrivals from six countries and does not affect people from two other countries included in the Trump ban - North Korea and Venezuela.
