A spokeswoman for US President Sarah Sanders confirmed that the American people were aware of the fact that Trump was innocent of charges of sexual harassment attributed to him, and eventually voted for him.
Sarah Sanders said US President Donald Trump had denied all allegations of sexual harassment and that he "personally responded to them, saying all these allegations were untrue."
Sanders also noted that all this happened long before he was elected president, "she said in an interview on December 12.
Sanders stressed that the American people knew that (Trump was innocent of charges of sexual harassment) and in the end voted for the Republican candidate.
Earlier, Samir Zerfuss appealed to the court weeks before the presidential election, accusing then-presidential candidate Donald Trump of sexual harassment against her in 2007, when she met him to discuss the possibility of hiring them.
US President Trump categorically denied the allegations, describing Samir Dervus as a "lie" and seeking power.
Ten other women have made similar calls to US courts on charges of sexual harassment against US President Donald Trump.
