US President Donald Trump said he wanted immigrants to come to America from everywhere in the world.
This came during a joint press conference with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the White House on Tuesday in response to a reporter's question about his earlier statements about "dirty countries".
"I want them to come to America from everywhere," Trump said, referring to Trump's remarks in earlier statements that he prefers immigrants from Norway, not Haiti, El Salvador or African countries.
Trump denied the comments, while members of the Senate made conflicting statements on the matter.
