US President Donald Trump's lawyer paid $ 130,000 to a celebrity porn star a month before the 2016 presidential election, press reports said Friday.

The money was paid as part of an agreement to preserve the confidentiality of the sexual-sexual relationship that was held between her and the US president earlier.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump's lawyer sent the sum to celebrity porn star Stephanie Clifford in October 2016 after negotiating with her lawyer the non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement.

People familiar with the matter told the newspaper that the Trump and Clifford meeting took place in July 2006 at the famous Lake Tahoe Golf Championships.

It is worth mentioning that US President Donald Trump has denied several allegations of sexual misconduct in the past. A White House official told the Wall Street Journal, "It's old and recycled reports published and published before the elections."

Donald Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, said in a statement that this was not true, denying any romantic relationship between Trump and the porn actress.
