Facebook is a good tool to stay in touch with friends and family, but for some people, continuous updates, messages, endorsements, ads, and bundles are all the more troublesome, not to mention the addition of "digital communication" that sometimes distances the user from "real communication" with others. They ended their connection with Facebook.
Account termination on Facebook is done in two ways: disable or terminate, and depend on whether the user is thinking about returning to their account in the future or permanently deleting it.
How to disable the account
Temporarily disabling the account means that the user has the option to return to Facebook at any time, and to disable the account, you must follow the following:
Click the down arrowhead on the top right of the Facebook page, choose Settings, click Security from the menu to the right of the screen, and from the Security options that appear on the left you choose to disable your account and follow the steps to confirm the process...
Disabling the account allows you to return to it and restore it at any time
If you disable your account, your profile will not be visible to others on Facebook, and no one will be able to search for you, but some information such as messages you sent to friends may still be visible to others.
If you decide to return to Facebook again, you can reactivate your account at any time by signing in with your email and password to recover your entire file.
How to permanently delete the account
Either if you think you will never use Facebook, you can request to permanently delete your account, in which case you will not be able to reactivate your account or restore anything you've shared on your profile.
Before you delete your account, you may want to back up your information on Facebook. To do so, click the down arrowhead on the top right of the Facebook page, select Settings, then click the link at the bottom of the main menu that says "Download a copy of your Facebook data".
To delete your account, please go to the following link:
https://facebook.com/help/delete_account, then click "Delete my account" and follow the steps to confirm the process.
Permanently deleting the account means you will not be able to recover it again
It can take up to 90 days for Facebook to delete everything you've posted on your account, such as photos, status updates, or any data saved in backup systems. During that time, Facebook will delete your information, but it will not be available to anyone else using the social network.
Note that some of the things you do on Facebook are not saved in your account. For example, a friend may have messages from you in his inbox, and this information will remain even after your account has been deleted, so you'll need to communicate with your recipients if you want to delete them.
